” The American Citizens Handbook” A candid conversation with a concerned citizen”

Over the last few years there had been a multitude of identity political groups. Or as Dave Chappelle has been known to say “the Alphabet groups”.
What I’ve found is there a group that has been around a longer than the others. Actually, it didn’t start out that way, but with political parties and special interests groups serving their self serving agendas, this group is being drowned out and thrown on the back burner.
That group is “United States American Citizens”. Which is a shame, since this group has the power to change the path of this country. Like most Americans I am getting a little fed up with the attacks on this great country. We’ve had our more than our share of tragedies as a nation. However, it is hard to argue that we are and have been the greatest country the world has ever known.
I do believe that we have allowed extreme agendas to appear to be the voice of the American Citizen, when they are not. Those voices have split us into tribes, pointing fingers and accusing the other factions of being not just wrong, but evil.
At the beginning, before anyone had heard of “Mission Statements”, there was the Preamble to the American Constitution
“We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”
We are losing our way. The thing we should strive for is to be a good American Citizen and embody the consitution.
In this age, its almost impossible to ascertain what is the truth and what is not. In the last two years, in doing research for the aboved mentioned book, I have seen facts and numbers being manipulated to create a false narrative.
The Danger of our position is that the problem is with us. We are developing into a most apathetic lot. Did you realize that in 2018 there were over 153 million registered voters and what percentage do you think actually voted.
In the last two presidential elections,2016 and 2012, only 61.45% and 61.8% of registered voters turned out. In my mind the right to vote is more than a right , its a privilege. One that millions of americans have paid the ultimate price to protect. It needs to be cherished. That means approximately 93 million did not exercise their right to vote
An excellent example of what can happen, occurred in the fourteenth district, when incumbent and well known Joseph Crowley was upset by newcomer Alexandria Ocasio Cortez. The registered voters turned out in an anemic 13 percent, allowingthe challenger to win with just under 17,000 votes.
This blog and the upcoming book will attempt to educate the American Citizens on what is really behind the misdirection of so many issues. However, we will focus a great deal on immigration, as it is the one arena that our votes can make the most impact.
